Dr. Cherese Combs

Medical Director

Hello, I'm Dr. Cherese Combs, DNP, the founder of Olympic Regenerative Medicine in Sequim, Washington—serving the Olympic Peninsula and beyond. Born and raised in nearby Port Angeles, I'm overjoyed to be back in this inspiring Pacific Northwest community after 30 enriching years in Idaho. Here, I blend my local roots with advanced expertise to offer regenerative medicine that truly revitalizes lives.

Board-certified in family medicine and lifestyle medicine, I draw from over 26 years of experience in family medicine, internal medicine, hormone optimization, and bariatric care. My education includes an undergraduate degree from Boise State University, a master’s from Graceland University, and a Doctorate from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa. Having witnessed the shortcomings of medication-dependent care, I've retired from traditional practice to specialize in regenerative medicine in Sequim and the Olympic Peninsula. We empower your body's natural healing for longevity, vitality, chronic pain resolution, sustainable weight loss, hormone balance, and complete lifestyle optimization.

As a weight management expert with extensive personal and professional experience, I guide patients through tough hurdles like post-bariatric surgery weight regain, lap band adjustments, peri- and postmenopausal weight gain, or frustration from diets that don't deliver. At Olympic Regenerative Medicine, our innovative therapies include GLP-1 medications for effective appetite and metabolism support, premium nutraceuticals for optimal cellular health, personalized lifestyle optimization rooted in the six pillars (nutrition, movement, stress management, sleep, connections, and risk avoidance), StemWave therapy for non-invasive pain relief and tissue regeneration, and the EvexiPel lifestyle and hormone replacement method for restored hormonal harmony and energy. Every plan is custom-crafted—no two patients are alike—through deep listening, clear education, and true partnership for root-cause results.

Nothing brings me greater joy than helping you prevent, treat, and reverse diseases—banishing pain, reigniting vitality, and living fully. Our end date may be uncertain, but thriving with health until then is within reach. It's my privilege to champion your path.

Outside the office, I'm a "healthy foodie" obsessed with making nutritious food delicious and fun. I recharge amid the Pacific Northwest's beauty—hiking Olympic National Park trails, enjoying coastal vistas, or playing the flute in peaceful moments. I'm studying Spanish and loving life with my husband, Phil, and our four adorable dogs. These joys fuel the balanced, vibrant approach I share with you.

Phil Smith

Clinic Director & Certified StemWave Technician

Phil brings a powerful blend of leadership, technical expertise, and compassionate care to his role as Clinic Director. A former U.S. Navy Captain and nuclear engineer with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Phil has built a distinguished career in leadership and innovation—first safeguarding our nation’s security, then founding and scaling successful businesses. Today, he channels that same precision and purpose into guiding our clinic’s daily operations and personally delivering advanced StemWave therapies to relieve pain and restore function.

A certified StemWave technician, Phil is deeply passionate about the science of regenerative medicine and its ability to help patients reclaim vitality without surgery or long-term medications. Having fallen in love with the Olympic Peninsula during his naval service, he proudly made it his permanent home, where he now thrives alongside his wife, four energetic dogs, and a well-loved Sprinter van. When he’s not leading treatments or refining clinic protocols, you’ll find Phil exploring rugged trails, traveling scenic byways, antique shopping for hidden treasures, or simply enjoying quality time with family in the place that feels like home.

At Olympic Regenerative Medicine, Phil’s mission is clear: apply proven regenerative techniques with integrity and care to help every patient move better, feel stronger, and live their most vibrant life.

Alyce Elsberg

Integrative Health Coach

Full Plate Living and FASTer Way to Fat Loss Certified

Hi, I’m Alyce, and I’m an Integrative Health Coach.

My passion is to help you find food freedom. I, myself, have been on a 100 pound weight loss journey, so I understand the ups and downs, the tears and the celebrations of weight loss. I want to help you realize no matter your size or age, you are valuable, and you are worth getting healthy for!

As a health coach, I empower my clients to take ownership of both their physical health and their mindset, because true transformation happens when the body and mind work together. I guide you in building sustainable habits—whether it’s improving nutrition, creating realistic fitness routines, or prioritizing restorative sleep—while also helping you develop resilience and confidence by shifting limiting beliefs and fostering a growth oriented perspective. I support you in breaking through mental barriers that often hold you back. My role isn’t to dictate change, but to partner with you—providing accountability, encouragement, and strategic guidance—so you feel strong, capable, and empowered to create lasting results in every area of your life.

I live in Idaho with my husband and little Yorkie Boaz, and have two adult children. My husband Brad and I love to hike and take drives and discover new places. I truly love learning about health and coaching because it allows me to continually grow, deepen my understanding of the mind-body connection, and better support others in becoming their strongest, most confident selves.
